Beer Punx in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida has a pretty corny name and theme but when their mannequin mascot, Cheryl, was stolen it’s now serious business.
Surveillance footage shows a man literally just walking away through the parking lot with the 27-pound, five-foot-eight, armless neighborhood celebrity.
Beer Punx’s owner, Wyatt Lawless says that Cheryl is more than just a mascot for the bar but a fellow “employee” and is very valuable to him.
“It sounds funny, you know, but Cheryl was like over 100 bucks,” he said.
By plastering “missing” flyers around the neighborhood with pictures of Cheryl, including her anarchy symbol, beer hat and scratched-up nipples, Lawless hopes to find his lost lady.
If anybody has any info, he wants Cheryl back unharmed so whoever has her, stop being such a creepy freak and return her.
