As if dealing with airlines didn’t already feel like a tricky labyrinth where one screw-up could cost you a ridiculous amount of money, they want less regulations by the government to trick us common folk even more!
Commercial airlines were recently given the opportunity to make a wish list of things they would like to see happen or regulations they would like to be made easier. That’s like going to a prison and asking prisoners to make a list of how they want to be regulated.
It basically resulted in the same greedy, sneaky way we’d expect which is them saying they would rather have more self-regulation than “micro-management” by the government… Yeah, that’ll work out just fine.
Some things on their lists included, but are not limited to, easing up on rules for giving customers important information in writing and also taking away the 24-hour protection so you won’t be charged for making changes.
In the end, the airlines are the same and we will still have to pay the price if we want to fly.
