Michelle Myers of Arizona has a very rare brain condition called Foreign Accent Syndrome that causes her to wake up speaking with different foreign accents. So far, she’s woken up speaking with an Irish, Australian and now a British accent! Many people assume that she’s faking it because her accents aren’t really that good, but she’s not. This condition isn’t under her control. All it means is that her brain is forcing her to talk in her best idea of an Irish/Australian/British accent. Foreign Accent Syndrome is very rare, but it is indeed a legitimate medical condition.
