Grandmother Reported Her Own Grandson To Police And Prevented Another School Shooting (Video)

A grandmother in Everett, Washington made the courageous decision to report her own grandson to police after figuring out he had a plan to shoot up his high school.

Thanks to this grandmother, she prevented the calculated attack and Joshua Alexander O’Connor, 18, was arrested just one day before the devastating Florida shooting.

O’Connor had detailed plans in his journal, which is what tipped off his grandmother, saying he had been preparing, working on his aim and could not wait to walk in and “blow all those (unknown curse word) away.” He said he wanted to “make this count” as well as kill as many people as possible.

When police searched the home they found the journal, a rifle in a guitar case and homemade explosives. He had also even robbed a convenience store to have money for the attack.

Since his arrest it has been revealed he is being held on $5 million bail and charges including, but not limited to, attempted murder.

Thanks to the quick work by local police as well as the courage of the grandmother, yet another school shooting was prevented and it stands as an example of how knowing and acknowledging the signs can save countless lives.
