Fergie Did A Smooth Jazz Version Of The National Anthem At The NBA All Star Game (Video)

The NBA All Star Game took place last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with Team LeBron James beating Team Stephen Curry by a score of 148-145. But the real talk of the game, other than the all star performances by the players, actually happened BEFORE the game even started.

Fergie drew the honor of singing the National Anthem and decided to do a smooth-jazzy version of it that definitely got people talking. Some of the players and the celebrities in the stands couldn’t keep a straight face during the performance and the reaction on social media, well, it wasn’t very positive.

After the anthem, Charles Barkley and Shaq couldn’t help commenting on it, with Barkley says he needed a cigarette afterwards. Shaq attempted to defend Fergie by trying to say some nice things, but he was obviously embarrassed by it.

Check out Fergie’s rendition of the anthem and the reactions below and let us know what you think!
