Daniel Kaluuya from the movie “Get Out” was on The Graham Norton Show recently and told the story of how he came to find out American actors don’t use tongue in kissing scenes, after doing it for years.
Kaluuya described how in the process of filming a kissing scene, he was constantly being fed mints. Of course, this gave him a complex about his breath but it really was just so he would keep his tongue to himself!
For the longest time, Kaluuya said he was told and just assumed he was supposed to use tongue so that was his technique for YEARS until the mint hints told him differently!
Making out with coworkers is something we can assume as already awkward enough but imagine the horror of their tongue unexpectedly ending up in your mouth too! The trauma..
