Marilyn Manson is back and touring again after his on-stage injury back in October but he’s definitely not completely healed. Sure his leg is in a boot but he needs more help than that as proven by his recent on-stage “meltdown” at The Paramount in New York.
People attending the show said Manson seemed to be either extremely drunk or on drugs which lead to him only playing about five songs, one being some completely made up thing with guitar riffs and incoherent babbling.
Manson finished his babbling which included him saying something to the effect of being really sad and needing the audience to tell him they love him for him to continue. In the end he dropped the mic, turned away and on his way out knocked over a speaker.
People on social media were rightfully not enthused by this, one Reddit user shared Manson was in just as bad shape even during the meet-and-greet before the show and others took to Instagram to express their concerns and anger over what happened. Instagram user “thelonebull” even shared a video from after Manson walked out where the whole crowd is chanting “f**k you, Manson!”
Not sure what is wrong with him but maybe the old “rock and roll lifestyle” is catching up to him!
