Wrestler Hit Square In The Face With A Baseball Bat After A Move Gone Wrong (Video)

WARNING: This is pretty tough to watch.

Now, we all know that wrestling is scripted. There’s a storyline and the wrestlers are following that. Sure, sometimes they take liberties and go off-script a bit, but for the most part, they stick to the plan. But at a recent Impact Wrestling event, things went DECIDEDLY off-script.’

During a recent match between Eddie Edwards was taking on Sami Death Machine Callihan. Callihan got Edwards on his back, then grabbed a metal folding chair and put it on his chest. He then grabbed a baseball bat and (we’re assuming) he was attempting to hit the chair with the bat, forcing it further into Edwards’ chest. But, well, he missed. He missed badly. And the result? Edwards took a baseball bat square to the face! IN THE FAAAAAAACE! Yeah, that definitely wasn’t supposed to happen.

For sacrificing his body, Edwards was awarded with a broken orbital bone, broken nose and a killer black eye!
