Imagine moving into a home and learning that you’re not alone. And no, we’re not talking squirrel in the attic or something little like that.
Recently, a man moved into a rental home in Texas and while doing some work, he discovered the skeleton of Mary Cerruti, who died about two years ago, in a small space in between two walls. The renter called 911, the police showed up and the investigation began.
Back in 2015, Cerruti was reported missing by her neighbors, but was never found. The bank eventually foreclosed on the home and it was sold to new owners. The medical examiner believes that Mary was in the attic when she fell through the floorboards, trapping herself between the walls.
What an absolutely awful way to go.
