Over the weekend, people stole over 30 animals worth $53,000 from the We Care Wildlife Sanctuary, an exotic animal sanctuary in Miami. Why? Because some a**hole thought it would be a good idea to post a fake Craigslist ad about how the sanctuary was closing, and anyone who wanted a few animals could just “go around back and help yourself.”
Volunteers at the sanctuary fear for the animals’ safety, saying that they are most likely stressed and need to come home. Also, some of the animals need special medication and care, making things even more urgent.
