Say it with us three times. “FitBit. FitBit. FitBit.” Simple enough, right? Well, not for one news anchor in Utah, who was reading a story about the new Fitbit Versa watch. Not once, but twice, the anchor slipped up and mispronounced FitBit it in the worst way possible: by adding a CH to the end of the word. Oops!
It turns out that the anchor was combining “FitBit” and “coach” and turned it into “FitBITCH.” Listen to the clip below!
