United Does It Again! This Time, They Put A Dog On A Flight To Japan Instead Of Kansas (Video)

Boy, United Airlines just can’t seem to get things right this week.

The other day, news broke that a dog died on a United flight because a flight attendant forced the passenger to put the dog in the overhead bin for a three and a half hour flight. Well, that wasn’t the only dog-related issue for United this week.

Kara and Joseph Swindle are moving to Kansas from the West Coast, along with their children and family dog Irgo, a 10-year-old German Shepherd. They all boarded a United flight (including Irgo in his kennel in the cargo hold), but when they arrived in Kansas City, Irgo was nowhere to be seen. Instead, another dog, a Great Dane, was waiting for them. It turns out that Irgo was loaded on to the wrong flight and made a quick trip to JAPAN! Yes, Japan!

United has assured the Swindle family that Irgo is on his way back and they will be reunited on Thursday evening in Kansas City. The Swindles, though, are concerned for Irgo’s health and are worried that the 10-year-old dog will not survive the trip back. United says that Irgo will be flying first class on the trip back from Japan.
