Unwanted subjects

On March 21st at around 2:50 p.m., police were dispatched to 1805 West Fulton Street for a report of two individuals using the resident-access computers without being residents. On arrival, police made contact with the subject in question and identified them as 22-year-old Kane Youngman of Oglala and 22-year-old Adreanna Cournoyer of Rapid City. It was determined that neither lived at the apartment complex and that Youngman had a warrant for his arrest. He was detained in handcuffs, and when asked if he had any weapons on his person, he indicated that he did. Police located a loaded sawed-off shotgun which was sticking out of his waistband. A search of their bags turned up two syringes which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Youngman was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Weapon, Commission of a Felony with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Former Violent Offender, and his Warrant. Cournoyer was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Ingestion of a Controlled Substance. Both were transported to the Pennington County Jail.
