Man Arrested After Allegedly Biting A Police K-9 (Video)

Here’s a little piece of advice for any would-be criminals out there: If you get busted and the cops show up to arrest you, don’t bite the K-9 officer, OK? Nothing good will come of it.

Racine, WI police have released the bodycam footage from an officer that shows a man allegedly biting a police K-9 during his arrest. 44-year-old Leland O’Malley is now facing two counts of disorderly conduct, one count of resisting arrest and one count of striking a police animal.

O’Malley allegedly got really drunk one night recently and was stumbling around outside of a house. Police were called, including K-9 Murphy. Deputy David Fisher was attempting to apprehend O’Malley, when he got a little too close to Murphy who quickly took him down. Instead of resisting, O’Malley instead decided to chomp down on Murphy, who was no doubt chomping down on him! Eventually, Deputy Fisher was able to separate the two and luckily, there were no injuries.

The Sheriff actually said that the whole incident was a win-win, because the suspect was apprehended without the use of possibly deadly force, and no one, including Murphy, got injured.
