John Oliver Gave Us The Montage Of Ball Park Food We Didn’t Know We Needed (Video)

Baseball is back and John Oliver uses it as a chance to show just how ‘Merican “America’s favorite past time” really is.

We thought “hot dog pie” and “freedom fries” was pretty good but we may have to add some of these ballpark foods from this local news montage to the “Freedom” intro for Friday!

Hot dogs and nachos just don’t cut it anymore when it comes to the staples of stadium food. Now stadiums come up with all kinds of crazy things like a “BBQ Parfait” which is just a cup with mashed potatoes and pulled pork in it. Also there’s the stupidly-named “Tachos” which are tater tot nachos, and even something that looks like a corn dog but is really a hot dog wrapped in a pickle and then deep-fried!

So if you find yourself at a ball park this summer, don’t be that loser who thinks they can get away with just getting a hot dog and popcorn! Unless that hot dog is wrapped in bacon, covered in hot cheetos, and drizzles with craft beer cheese, you’re just not having the true baseball experience.
