Wisconsin man, Nick Prueher has a very special relationship with his mom which is why he is starting a GoFundMe for her! No, she does not have any medical issues or any great tragedies in her life, unless you consider being a totally adorable, total badass a medical issue or tragedy!
Prueher has an ongoing joke with his mother in which he buys her tons of heavy metal band tee shirts and then takes pictures of her doing innocent-looking things like sipping tea! Now, he wants to use the GoFundMe money to create a “Metal Mom” parade float in her honor, complete with a Macy’s-style balloon in her likeness!
“Metal Mom” herself will be making an appearance on the float too! She’ll be knitting or something sweet and mom-ish while metal blasts throughout the parade.
It seems like a crazy and maybe a little bit dumb of an idea but Metal Mom getting her 15 minutes of fame in the local parade has got to be worth it, right!?
