Last week drivers making their way down Chicago’s I-290 were surprised to find “♥ Annamarie, will you marry me?” spelled out on the fence of an overpass.
Well now, the lucky couple has been found and are sharing the story of their super romantic proposal!
Annamarie and Angel had been together for 14 years so when Angel wanted to pop the question he wanted to make it special!
He cut up red pool noodles and used the pieces to shove through the little holes in the fence with the proposal message. Angel then parked his car on the shoulder facing the bridge, called Annamarie to come help him and she didn’t even notice the bridge until he pointed it out!
All is well that ends well, though, and the couple is happily engaged!
