Bald Eagle Lands On Seattle Mariners’ Pitcher During National Anthem Because… ‘Merica (Video)

America’s favorite past time, meet America’s favorite symbol of freedom. Get you some hot dogs, hit some home runs and shout “YEE YEE” from the Rocky Mountains because this bald eagle at the Twins vs. Mariners game is one of the most ‘Merican things we’ve ever seen.

The Minnesota Twins decided the perfect way to kick off their home opener was by releasing a bald eagle during the National Anthem. Honestly sounds pretty badass!

Once the Eagle was out though, it decided to be as free as the country he boldly represents, spread his wings, and fly up to the shoulder of Seattle Mariners’ pitcher, James Paxton!

Paxton just remained calm while the eagle rested on his shoulder for a second until the majestic bird’s trainer could come reign him in.

You just can’t hold back good ol’ American freedom, people!
