Someone come get their grandma because she’s out on the streets wheelin’ and dealin’…dealing ginseng, that is.
Police are on the lookout for 70-year-old Young Sook Lee for stealing eight bags of ginseng after what looked like a shifty drug deal in a parking lot.
Young Sook Lee was responding to a Korean newspaper ad for the ginseng and agreed to meet up with the dealer.
Surveillance video then showed two cars backed up to each other with a scale in the middle. The dealer would then take out the bags, weigh them and then load them into Sook Lee’s car. An accomplice then distracted the dealer while Sook Lee tried to make a slick getaway with the eight bags of herbs!
A little car chase followed through the parking lot but Sook Lee was able to get away and has been avoiding police ever since!
So if anyone sees a seemingly sweet little old lady with an unreasonable amount of ginseng, you may want to contact police! She’s probably got a lot of energy so be careful.
