Driving can be a real challenge sometimes. As if it’s not bad enough that you have to worry about what other drivers are doing, you also have to worry about things that are COMPLETELY out of your control…like a cow in the middle of the road!
During a high-speed chase last week in Caseyville, IL, a car got in between the police officer’s car and the car the officer was pursuing. The car in the middle struck a cow that had wandered into the middle of I-64, causing serious injuries to the driver. The police car then rear-ended that car. The police officer was taken to the hospital with non life-threating injuries. And the craziest part? The cow wasn’t killed! It continued to walk around after the accident.
Police are currently searching for the cow’s owner. The car that the police were chasing got away.
