Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
We all know by now that back in 2015 women with allegations against rapist and former “wholesome” TV star Bill Cosby came forward.
Last year the case ended in a “mistrial” due to a deadlocked jury, meanwhile the “#MeToo” movement was unfolding into what it is today.
Now over 60 women have come forward and the retrial has come to the final verdict, Bill Cosby is guilty of sexually violating Andrea Constand back in 2004.
The retrial took 14 hours over the course of two days with a jury of seven men and five women and it was decided Cosby was guilty and will move on to sentencing.
After Cosby listened to his verdict in which the District Attorney said he should be jailed immediately as he is a “flight risk.” He then called the DA an “a**hole” but the judge decided to let Cosby walk free on bail until the sentencing.
This has been the only criminal case to come out of the 60+ allegations against Cosby but it is seen as a victory for survivors everywhere.
