The NFL Draft was this weekend but it wasn’t the most exciting thing for some of the guys!
Just two days before he was the #2 overall draft pick by the NY Giants, Saquon Barkley and his girlfriend became parents to a baby girl!
With his girl back home with the new baby and being drafted into the NFL, it was a time for Barkley to have a moment of his own, but apparently ESPN’s Suzy Kolber didn’t think he needed it!
Mid-interview, Kolber tells Barkley repeatedly to shout out his girlfriend to which Barkley was extremely awkward and hesitant about.
Okay, sure she shouldn’t be asking him to do that but why was he so awkward about it?
Just say a quick, “sup babe” and move along to appease the sports reporter lady, don’t make it this whole “uhhh, I might…” thing.
We’re not the official ruling here and we don’t know Barkley’s life, he could just genuinely be awkward about his family, or he’s got more than one girlfriend. But who are we to judge?
We might give you a congratulatory shout out but for now, “uhh, hey Saquon!”
