In a recent interview one of the smartest people alive, Bill Gates, shared what he feels could cause over 10 million deaths in a single year and it’s not war!
Gates says he worries for another global pandemic, be it a natural one or worse – bioterror.
According to Gates the last natural pandemic was over 100 years ago but said bioterror is always something to be aware of.
With the Anthrax pandemic years ago, Gates says we need a plan on how to handle an instance of bioterror when it comes to evacuating people and dividing resources.
Gates also said that in his opinion, the United States would not be prepared for a situation like that as nobody seems to be actively planning.
