Off-Duty Cop Pulls His Gun On A Convenience Store Customer Who He Thinks Shoplifted Mentos (Video)

Last week, a man buying a pack of Mentos at an Orange County, California  convenience store had a gun pulled on him by an off-duty police officer because the officer thought the man had shoplifted the candy.

In the video below, watch as the man pays for the candy and then puts it in his pocket. The officer, who was in back of him in line, immediately reached into his pocket, drew his gun and told the man to empty his pockets. For some reason, he thought the man had stolen the candy, even though he had just paid the clerk for it. Eventually, the misunderstanding was cleared up and the man was allowed to leave with his Mentos.

Watch the video below and let us know if you think the officer was justified in his actions or not.
