Ryan Reynolds appeared on The Graham Norton Show last week to promote Deadpool 2, which is in theaters this Thursday. While on the show, Reynolds told the story of what could only be described as the most awkward high-five ever.
While on a plane, a woman sitting near him got violently ill. It was so bad that paramedics had to come on to the plane to remove the woman before the flight took off. While walking off the plane, the woman’s husband recognized Reynolds, exclaimed “Deadpool!” and then insisted on high-fiving him…all while his wife was being wheeled off on a stretcher!
Awkward!
