Woman Was Annoyed By Utility Truck Idling So She Turned It Off, Stranding Worker Suspended On Lift (Video)

An angry woman decided the best way to let the utility truck worker know she wasn’t happy with where she parked was to shut off the truck and leave the worker stuck, suspended in the air.

Elena Gerlihman, 59, was angry that an Optimum utility truck was parked and idling near her home so she took matters into her own hands and shut the truck off.

Sure, that’s pretty annoying in itself but what made matters worse, a female utility worker was suspended in the lift bucket and was stranded up there once the truck was shut off.

The utility worker told police what happened and that she was stuck up there upwards of 10 minutes but Gerlihman says police and the worker are making it all up!

One neighbor of Gerlihman, however, says this isn’t the first time this witch of a woman has done this, saying she did the same thing to an ice cream truck before.

Gerlihman was arrested and released pending a court date where she faces charges for harassment, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

So lesson learned, maybe don’t be a jerk?
