Jodie Sweetin Beats Mark McGrath In A 90’s Throwback Rap Battle (Video)

Just think back to the 90’s, you come home to watch Full House and Stephanie Tanner is reminding you the best response to someone being rude is to say, “how rude!” Your friends pull up to your house blasting the latest from Sugar Ray and you say, “heck yeah dude, I just wanna fly too…rad.”

It was a simpler time, so thankfully TBS’ new rap battle show Drop The Mic brought Jodie Sweetin and Mark McGrath together for a battle riddled with jabs at each other’s careers.

It’s safe to say both Sweetin and McGrath have seen their careers take a bit of a roller-coaster ride and it’s ended up with both of them in some interesting places. Something Sweetin definitely pointed out when she hit McGrath with, “You went from multi-platinum records to Sharknado 2.”

McGrath got his own fair share of jabs in though telling Sweetin she should make like Uncle Joey and “cut. it. out.” and saying when he sees her on TV “I just wanna die” to the tune of Sugar Ray’s hit “Fly.”

With lines like “In 1988 your life was first-class and great, now you’re at more state fairs than a funnel cake” that put McGrath into a dang bodybag, Sweetin came out victorious!

No matter how it ended, now we’re probably all going to be listening to Sugar Ray the rest of the day.
