The fact that softballs aren’t actually soft balls is like some sort of twisted joke, or at least that’s gotta be what’s going through Clay Matthews’ head after one smashed his nose!
The Green Bay linebacker and fellow teammate Davante Adams were hosting the Packers’ annual charity softball game with Matthews as the pitcher.
The game took a turn, though, when a line drive went straight to Matthews’ face, crushing his nose!
He later tweeted he will be getting surgery once the swelling subsides but appreciates everyone’s concern!
Adams told everyone Matthews “got a little boo-boo on his nose” and the game continued on.
Just yet another example why football players shouldn’t also try to play base(soft)ball…
