Apple Announced Yesterday That They Have Added ‘Tongue Detection’ To Their Animoji (Video)

Yesterday, Apple kicked off their yearly Worldwide Developers Conference, which is where they announce new hardware and software products for the coming year. Included in yesterday’s announcement was an update to animoji, Apple’s 3D emoji that can replicate the user’s facial expressions and voice. That update? Tongue detection!

That’s right, folks. Your animoji can now replicate your tongue when you speak. And the internet seems to think that the only realistic use for tongue detection will be, you guessed it, sexting.

We’re all going to be sticking out our tongues to our phones in the near future,” said Craig Federighi, Apple’s SVP of software engineering. Yeah Craig? Are we?
