Can A Bar Be Bullied? In The Case Of This Boston Tavern Versus Modern Nazis, We’d Say Yes (Video)

Owners of the Green Dragon Tavern in Boston say their establishment is being bullied online after a “misinformation campaign” has people labeling them as Nazi sympathizers.

What really happened here is a group attended a “free speech rally” and decided to go to the tavern for a bite to eat afterwards. While the group was inside another group appeared out front telling the owners to kick that group out because they were Nazis.

When co-owner Noelle Somers approached the group of accused Nazis asking if they were having a demonstration and they said “no” she had no reason to kick them out. They were being quiet patrons, not disturbing anyone.

The other group said they had a large network and soon enough the tavern was flooded with phone calls and negative reviews on social media and Yelp.

Now Yelp is working to “clean up” the negative reviews from people who were never actual customers in the first place but when your bar is being accused of openly hosting those who hate women and gay people…that’s gotta sting a bit.
