Someone call DraftKings because according to Mike Francesa they just basically haven’t existed for years.
With legalized sports betting, Francesa thinks it would be “wildly popular” for people to be able to put their sports knowledge and expertise to use to make money by creating teams of five or more players.
He goes into great detail and wholeheartedly believes this is a new and revolutionary idea when in reality, he’s described daily fantasy sports.
Unless you’ve been in a coma for years, you’ve had to have heard of DraftKings or websites like it for fantasy leagues, they were everywhere! We even had reads for DraftKings on our show!
We know Francesa is probably getting hounded endlessly for this blunder, there should be a button he could click on his phone that would make it so he won’t get all the notifications and blow up his phone, it would be so popular if it existed…oh wait.
