Because the world is now awful, a woman in San Francisco called the police on an eight-year-old girl over the weekend, trying to get her in trouble for selling bottled water without a permit. The young girl, named Jordan, was selling the water to people outside of the Giants stadium, trying to raise money for a trip to Disneyland.
Jordan’s older cousin recorded the whole interaction and it went viral, and a guy ended up buying Jordan four tickets to Disneyland! The woman who made the call, now being referred to on the internet as “Permit Patty,” later admitted that she handled the whole situation wrong and wishes it had gone differently.
