Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was a guest on “The Dan Patrick Show” earlier this week and he told a great story about the time he got fired from his job at a car dealership…that his father owned!
Jr. says that he was working in the service department and there was a new service manager who wanted everyone to stay after work to talk about some changes coming to the dealership. Jr. told the guy that he didn’t want to stay after if he was not getting paid for it, so he was basically told to think about whether he wanted the job or not. After consulting with his father, he went back and told the service manager “I’m gonna work or I’m not.” The service manager’s response? “Find someone to help you pack your tools!”
