On July 2nd around 12:40 a.m., police were called to an apartment at 313 E. Adams Street for a report of an individual who had been stabbed. On arrival, police located the injured individual and began rendering first aid. A medical unit was called to the scene and would eventually transport the injured party to the hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries. According to witnesses, at least three suspects were seen assaulting the victim. Police continue to investigate and are in the process of interviewing several individuals who may have been involved.
