There are few things more annoying than being kept awake when you’re trying to sleep. For residents of one town in South Jersey, they’ve been kept awake every Sunday night for the last few months and they’re tired of it.
Residents of Gloucester City, NJ have taken to social media over the last few months in an attempt to figure out where the booming loud music has been coming from every Sunday night until the wee hours of the morning. As it turns out, the music was coming from another state entirely! Across the river in Philadelphia, a crowd has been gathering in a parking lot on Sunday nights to show off their car’s loud stereo systems. One Gloucester City resident figured out the location of the noise when he just got fed up with it one night and followed his ears across the river, where he discovered the car show.
The owner of the store had no idea that this was going on and said that they will begin locking the date in the future. The Philadelphia Police Department said that they are also looking into the matter.
