Recently Build-A-Bear Workshop did what originally seemed like a really great promotion of “pay your age day” but it turned out to be a bigger hit than anyone expected and now they must suffer the wrath of the moms.
“Pay your age day” was a way for people to come in to build their bears and when they go to cash out, they pay however old they or their children are.
We’re not 100% sure what is really so great about these bears but it’s a special thing for kids and all that mushy, cute-sy junk so, sure..why not?
The promotion was such a hit stores and malls everywhere were so overstuffed with people wanting their cheap bears, they actually had to cut off some lines and turn people away!
Due to “crowds and safety concerns” kids everywhere will not be getting their bears they so desperately wanted and “momma bears” everywhere are plotting their revenge.
