Police are cracking down on slow drivers everywhere, but what we’re not cracking down now are turtles in the road!
You probably thought this video was about some sort of karma for someone driving slow but no, here’s a lesson for turtle saving season!
This deputy was driving along when he happened to notice a tortoise trying to just make his way downtown, walking (not very) fast.
At first, deputy Bryan Bowman tried, like many decent people, to help the turtle cross the road but got snapped at and decided the best way would be to just follow it to safety.
So Bowman drove behind the turtle for about 20 minutes until it finally made its way back into the woods!
Of course this is pretty funny but also, make sure to help out any turtles in the road! They have families to get home to, slowly, but they’ll get there!
