After Employee Walks 20 Miles To His New Job, Company CEO Gifts Him His Personal Car (Video)

Walter Carr is an Alabama college student who just got a job with the moving company Bellhops. Unfortunately, Carr’s vehicle broke down and he was left without a ride to work. So in order to be at his job by 8AM, Carr started walking the 20 miles from his home to his job at midnight the night before! About halfway through his journey, a concerned police officer pulled over to check on him, and that’s when Carr told the officer his story. The officer bought Carr some breakfast, and gave him a ride the rest of the way to his job. But Carr’s good fortune did not end there.

The CEO of Bellhops heard Carr’s story and decided to help out in a big way. So he drove his car from Tennessee to Alabama, met with Carr personally and gave him his personal vehicle, a 2014 Ford Escape. Understandably, Carr was pretty shocked by this incredible gesture.

Carr says that he hopes his story shows people that he is dedicated and that he’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done. Mission accomplished.
