California Gun Store Owner Busts Sacha Baron Cohen After He Tries To Dupe Them For His New Show (Video)

A gun store owner in Riverside, California is calling out Sacha Baron Cohen, claiming that the actor attempted to dupe him last year while filming for his hew Showtime show, “Who is America?

According to Warrior One Guns & Ammo owner Norris Sweidan, Cohen visited the store with a camera crew in February of 2017, claiming to be filming a documentary of a Hungarian immigrant trying to buy a gun. Sweidan said that he immediately thought something was up when the man claiming to be the immigrant walked in the door, with a super long beard and dressed all in leather. But then, when he introduced himself and heard him speak for the first time, he immediately said, “You’re Borat.” Sweidan says that Cohen immediately made a beeline for the door and left, leaving his producer and camera crew to deal with the cleanup. Sweidan then told them to get out of the store.

Sweidan says that he believes that Cohen targeted the store and that it would have been featured in the new Showtime series if he had not called him out.
