This Virginia Beach Surfer Rescued Young Boy From The Ocean (Video)

People really do not give “surfer dudes” enough credit, man!

Honestly, when was the last time you heard of a surfer doing something genuinely awful!?

They’re just goofy, life-loving, chill dudes and increasingly often, they’re proving to be heroes, brah!

We all remember, Kai, the hatchet-wielding, hitchhiking, surfer hero from 2013. Now we have Scott Roberts who actually was surfing when he saved a little boy from drowning in the ocean in Virginia Beach!

Roberts said he was about to go back out for a few more waves when he noticed a young boy barely keeping his head above water.

He paddled out to the boy, got him up on his board and was on his way back to shore when the boy said, “I thought I was gonna die!”

In true surfer fashion, Roberts said “Not today, brother!” and now we really want to be his new best friends.
