Phil Hughes Talks About Derek Jeter’s Petty Gambling Habits On Barstool Podcast (Video)

Phil Hughes, a former Yankee and current San Diego Padre stopped by Barstool’s podcast Pardon My Take and shared some interesting stories about Derek Jeter’s gambling habits!

According to Hughes, Jeter always made little wagers with his teammates and it was all fun and games, until he lost.

Jeter apparently is a sore loser and was extremely petty when it came to settling up!

“So it would be like a hundred bucks on something stupid like a college football game that’s going on or something, said Hughes. “And if he lost, he would literally have a bag of pennies the next day. And it wasn’t like a dollar. It was a hundred bucks. It’s a lot of pennies.”

At least he actually pays his bets though! Also, luckily, Coinstar is a thing.
