To be completely honest, we guess we forgot that actual summer camps really did exist in real life and not just in movies, but hey, they’re pretty neat!
Last night, NBC Nightly News had a feel-good story about kids keeping the letter-writing tradition alive while at summer camp.
Sure it was kind of corny but it was also genuinely surprising that some of the kids actually do like to do it!
While that’s all fine and dandy, the best part has to be the kids who either hate writing the letters or just hate the camp in general!
“I am only smiling in the pictures so you think I am having tons of fun,” one letter says. “But I’m not.”
Kids just say the darndest things, don’t they?
