“Amish Uber” is Hochstedler’s brainchild. For just five bucks, he’ll give you a ride anywhere you want to go in Colon…in his buggy. That’s right, a buggy! Since Hochstedler is Amish, he rides around in a horse and buggy, which takes the place of a traditional vehicle in the Uber scenario. And he’s more than happy to give you a ride around down.
Unfortunately, if you want to get in touch with Hochstedler and catch a ride, you’ll have to flag him down because he’s Amish, so he doesn’t carry a cell phone. Well, that definitely makes the whole “Amish Uber” thing a little less convenient!
