Yes we’re arresting grannies now!
This 81-year-old Michigan woman was arrested for the first time in her life recently for having medical marijuana with an expired medical card.
Delores Saltzman has her Michigan Medical Marijana card due to pain from her plethora of old people disorders like arthritis.
Saltzman was just chilling at home when a Sheriff’s Deputy showed up to see Saltzman’s great-granddaughter about her lost phone and ID. The deputy then smelled marijuana, to which Saltzman admitted it was hers.
The court records from the police report said granny’s stash included seven pipes, four joints, a grinder, and a purple jar with weed in it! Grandma said she only had about an eighth of an ounce but she still was put in handcuffs and taken to jail for the night.
Luckily, all Delores had to do was re-apply for her medical card and the case would be dropped!
Which is good because after all that stress of being arrested, she’s probably going to need to spark up for a bit!
