If you’ve ever wondered if a whole buttload of guitars playing AC/DC together would sound even remotely good, well don’t we have a treat for you!
Recently about 500 guitarists in Australia got together at the Sydney Guitar Festival and paid homage to fellow Australian rock legends, AC/DC for a new world record!
The previous record for “most guitarists playing the same song at once” was set in India in 2013 when 368 guitarists got together to play “Knocking On Heaven’s Door” by Guns N’ Roses.
With just 89 more people, Sydney will hold the record with 457 people having rocked out together to some good old AC/DC and it actually didn’t sound terrible!
We can’t even imagine what kind of a cluster that was to get set up but looks like we’ll need to get 500 people together and snatch that record right from under them! Any guitarists out there know any Mason Ramsey?
