On Wednesday, two beer delivery truck drivers used the power of beer to save a man from committing suicide.
Jason Gabel and Kwame Anderson were just out making their rounds when they saw a man hanging on from the outside of a fence over an overpass.
Once they realized what was going on, Anderson called 911 and tried to “talk him off the ledge” literally.
They could tell the man was scared and intimidated so they eventually did what brings many people together, and offered him a beer.
Anderson ran to the truck, grabbed a 12-pack and brought the man to safety!
Aside from saving lives and delivering beer, which is increasingly becoming synonymous with each other, Anderson is also a local comedian and said he’d love for the man to come to his shows!
And that’s exactly what this world needs, kindness, laughter and an ice cold beer!
