English is a pretty stupid language. It seems like every letter or letter combination has about fifteen different ways that it can be pronounced, meaning that for those learning English, things can be pretty difficult. But what if that wasn’t the case? What if every letter only had one pronunciation? That would simplify things a bit, right?
