A few weeks ago during the final round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, a heckler was getting in Tiger Woods’ ear nonstop. Being the good caddie that he is, Joe LaCava tried to do something about it so he went up to the man and asked him to keep it down. The guy responded with a few choice words and told him that if he wanted him to stop, he’d have to pay him the $25 he paid for his ticket. So what did LaCava do? He reached in his pocket, handed him the cash and told him to beat it!
LaCava went on to say that the man then proceeded to start walking down the fairway to the hole, so he had to tell him to hold up his end of the deal and leave. Eventually, security got involved and ejected the guy from the tournament.
