Al Sharpton Tells Donald Trump To Show Omarosa Some ‘R-E-S-P-I-C-T.’ Wait, What? (Video)

R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Respect. Even people who are completely illiterate know how to spell that word thanks to the powerful voice of the late Aretha Franklin. Well, maybe not everyone.

Last week, President Donald Trump used the word “dog” to criticize former White House aide and Apprenticecontestant Omarosa Manigault-Newman. Al Sharpton took exception to the use of the word dog and used his platform on MSNBC to fire back at Trump, saying, “In the words of my late friend Aretha Franklin, show some ‘R-E-S-P-I-C-T.'” RespIct? What exactly is that?

Do you think someone was in Sharpton’s ear saying, “Um, Mr. Sharpton, you spelled ‘respect’ wrong!” Or did they just let him go? And what really sucks is that even if he realized his mistake, it appears as though the flub occurred right as he was signing off, so there may not have even been time to correct it. Sucks for that guy!
