Of all the ways to break in to a store, for some reason people are still getting their inspiration from some Tom and Jerry style cartoons.
Take this idiot in La Verne, California for example, who decided the best way to break in to the Inland Dairy Store was to try and tunnel through the walls.
To his credit, he made it in, but not without setting the alarms and the police showing up to find stolen merchandise, burglary tools (probably just a black mask and a bag with a single dollar sign on it) and a mask.
Lucky for us, and probably the store, what happened inside was caught on surveillance cameras so we get to see this idiot with a white cloth on his face try to hide between two fridges once police arrived.
The suspect was arrested but ended up released on bond which is a good thing because he’s apparently a master of tunneling as shown by the pile of woodchips next to a hole in the wall at the store he broke into, so he would have probably escaped anyways…
